This QHS Deep Sleep / Autonomic Reset / Nervous System Rest Support Protocol is a controlled wellness-support audio session intended to support sleep preparation, parasympathetic downshift, sensory quieting, emotional settling, bedtime rhythm, and recovery-state rest.

This protocol is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, reverse, or manage insomnia, sleep apnea, autonomic dysfunction, dysautonomia, anxiety disorder, PTSD, depression, neurologic disease, cardiovascular disease, breathing disorder, medication effect, or any medical condition. Licensed medical care remains primary.

Medical Primacy And Sleep Safety Notice

Sleep disruption and autonomic symptoms can have medical causes including sleep apnea, cardiovascular issues, glucose changes, medication effects, pain, breathing disorders, anxiety, trauma, depression, neurologic disease, or other conditions. This audio file does not replace medical evaluation or prescribed care.
  • Continue all physician, sleep specialist, cardiology, neurology, mental-health, medication, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen, glucose, and emergency guidance as applicable.
  • Do not use this file to delay evaluation of severe insomnia, breathing pauses, chest pain, fainting, severe dizziness, confusion, new neurologic symptoms, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
  • Do not use while driving, walking, bathing, cooking, using stairs, supervising children, or operating equipment.
  • Do not use if it prevents hearing a child, caregiver, alarm, medical device, call bell, oxygen equipment, or safety cue.
  • Use low volume only. The file should feel soft, slow, and non-invasive.
     
Use Schedule

Standard use - 1 session during bedtime preparation or a safe evening rest period

Best time - 30-60 minutes before intended sleep, or at bedtime if the listener remains safe and able to hear required cues

Weekly rhythm - 5 nights per week for first 2 weeks; 5-7 nights per week thereafter as tolerated

Optional repeat - Do not repeat the same night unless specifically tolerated; if repeated, allow at least 60 minutes between sessions

Neurology-file separation - Separate from daytime neurology/cognitive files by at least 6 hours whenever possible

Initial review cycle - 2 weeks, then review sleep onset, overnight waking, dreams, morning grogginess, and daytime function

Do not - Do not loop continuously; do not play all night on repeat; do not use to mask urgent symptoms

Combining With Other QHS Files
  • Do not play two QHS WAV files at the same time.
  • Separate from daytime neurology files by at least 6 hours whenever possible.
  • During the first 7 nights, do not stack with trauma, migraine, tinnitus, cognitive clarity, Parkinson's Day, tremor calm, or other strong nervous-system files in the same evening.
  • Morning or daytime Touch may be used earlier in the day if already tolerated and separated by at least 6 hours.
  • If vivid dreams, nightmares, morning grogginess, agitation, headache, dizziness, or sleep disruption occurs, reduce use or pause.

Stop / Pause And Medical Review Triggers

  • Breathing pauses, choking/gasping, oxygen concerns, chest pain, fainting, severe dizziness, new severe shortness of breath, or confusion.
  • Sudden neurologic symptoms, seizure, severe headache, fall, head injury, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
  • Severe insomnia that persists, severe depression, suicidal thoughts, hallucinations, unsafe behavior, or crisis state.
  • Medication reaction concern, severe glucose concern, severe dehydration, infection symptoms, or urgent symptom.
  • Any clinician, caregiver, or user concern that immediate medical review is needed.
     
Tracking Notes

Note is you observe any of the following:
  • Date and time used.
  • Use context: bedtime preparation, evening decompression, post-treatment rest, post-neurology file rest, or overnight waking support.
  • Sleepiness before and after, using a private 0-10 scale.
  • Sleep onset time estimate.
  • Number of nighttime awakenings.
  • Dream intensity or nightmares.
  • Morning grogginess or clarity.
  • Any reason to pause or contact a clinician.
